Bacterial Vaccines

Tréidlia Biovet makes a range of bacterial vaccines against many of the common endemic bacterial pathogens of pigs, cattle, poultry, fish and other animals.

A few examples include E.coli, Pasteurella, Actinobacillus, Haemophilus, Leptospira, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and Yersinia.

Some of these are made on an autogenous basis, i.e, based on strains isolated from each farm. Autogenous vaccines can be useful tools for veterinarians and farm managers to overcome the issue of strain variation, to reduce antimicrobial use, maintain animal welfare and optimise production. They require veterinary scripts for supply.

Recombinant Vaccines

Tréidlia Biovet makes a range of recombinant vaccines for specific diseases.

TBV Custom Footroot R-Pilus Vaccine. A recombinant vaccine against Dichelobacter nodosus, the causative agent of ovine footrot. Developed in conjunction with the University of Sydney, this subunit vaccine is customised to suit each farm based on serogroup test results. In some states, permission to use this product on each farm is required by the Chief Veterinary Officer.

TBV Rotavax Vaccine for Pigeons.. A recombinant vaccine against the Australian Pigeon Rotavirus.

TBV Nodavax Vaccine. A recombinant vaccine against marine Nodavirus in fish.
